Today henry&hymas boast a full suite of structural engineering capabilities from foundation and tall building design to 3D building information modelling (BIM) using REVIT. These tools are used to optimise designs and minimise construction costs.
Our specialist areas include design of precast, tilt-up, reinforced and post tensioned concrete buildings and structural steel design for retail, commercial, industrial and residential developments. Civil & Stormwater
Civil engineering is a key capability within henry&hymas. Our civil team offers a full range of civil engineering expertise including subdivision design, roads & stormwater design, engineering reports, flood modelling, due diligence, earthworks, DA design and construction documentation.
Our civil team is highly proficient and will tackle any scale or type of urban development. We prepare road design, lot layout, utility and infrastructure design. Our road and pavement designs meet Australian and national standards. Our civil and stormwater skills extend to design of shoring and dewatering systems, coffer dams soil erosion and sediment controls.

henry&hymas Consulting Engineers are pioneers of tilt-up and precast engineering solutions. The benefit of tilt-up construction was realised in the early 1990’s and is now the preferred method of construction for many industrial, commercial and retail precincts. Our tilt-up and precast team have enormous capacity to prepare detailed design and detail shop drawings for the construction industry.
