A key to retail design is innovation and optimisation of materials and space. Henry & Hymas were instrumental in bringing Tilt-Up Technology from the USA to Australia in the 1980's, and then pioneering its introduction to supermarket and retail design in the early 1990's. This provides the retail space with a column free perimeter wall. The first major retail project constructed this way was the Menai Market Place.
