RESIDENTIAL
Engineers at H&H Consulting Engineers have experience in residential construction dating back to the 'home unit boom' period of the late sixties and early seventies. This boom was initiated by the legislation of the 'Strata Title' concept. Two award winning buildings from that period, Tarquin and Oyama are illustrated to demonstrate our long-standing commitment to innovation and excellence in design. More recent projects demonstrate utilisation of new construction techniques such as Ultra Floor, Ritek Wall/Rapid Wall and Precast Systems.

Naturally, conventional construction is still the most appropriate for many projects. It is important that the various 'systems' approach to construction are only utilised where appropriate. We believe our design experience in both conventional and 'systems' construction over many years enables us to advise our clients on the benefits and pitfalls of the various design approaches available for their project. This translates into minimising problems and maximising quality and returns.

We currently have at varying stages of design and/or construction, residential projects ranging up to 13 storeys high, accounting for approximately 600 units - from low-cost to prestige, and from small to large projects. Our senior engineers have experience with design of buildings up to 25 storeys high.
